Who provides it

Fish Thanks is provided by CARLOS EDUARDO PEREIRA GONCALVES AGENCIA DE PUBLICIDADE LTDA (nome fantasia STARTUP KIT), CNPJ 51.471.362/0001-00, Avenida Paulista, 1106, sala 01, 16º andar, Bela Vista, São Paulo/SP, CEP 01310-914. Contact: suporte@fishthanks.app. By installing and using the app, the user accepts these terms and the privacy policy.

What the app is

An app for caring for a planted aquarium: routines calculated for the tank, a phased journey, a photo timeline, guided diagnosis, a species collection, reminders and, on Pro, an AI assistant. The download is free and the Free plan has one tank.

Plans

  • Free: one tank, on the device, no account required, no AI.
  • Pro: a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription made in the app. It includes sync across devices and the AI assistant with a number of credits per cycle, shown on the Subscription screen before purchase. It requires an account because credits are metered on the server. Unused credits do not carry over to the next cycle.
  • Promo code: a Google Play promo code gives 90 free days on Pro monthly only. The code is used on Google's payment screen, which asks for a payment method; after the 90 days, the subscription renews automatically at the monthly price shown by the store until it is cancelled. To avoid being charged, cancel the subscription in Google Play before the 90 days end. The code has no cash value, is not refundable and does not apply to another plan.
  • 30-day guarantee: anyone who does not like Pro within 30 days of purchase may ask for a refund at suporte@fishthanks.app. Google Play purchases are refunded by us; for App Store purchases the refund is decided by Apple, and we guide the request at reportaproblem.apple.com and support the case, without guaranteeing approval. This does not affect the right of withdrawal under Brazil's Consumer Defense Code.
  • Price, period and currency are the ones shown by the store at the time of purchase. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow App Store and Google Play rules; the subscription is managed and cancelled in the store settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.

Account

The account is optional. The user is responsible for access to the e-mail or the Apple or Google sign-in used to sign in. The account can be deleted at any time inside the app (account deletion page); deleting it does not cancel a store subscription, which the user cancels in the store.

Guidance, not professional advice

Routines, calculated numbers, diagnoses and assistant answers are hobby guidance. They are not veterinary or any other professional advice. In case of disease or animal loss, look for an aquatic animal professional or a trusted store. AI assistant answers may contain errors; double-check before acting, especially on product dosing.

Acceptable use

The user may not use the app or the server to send illegal content, try to access other people's accounts, bypass assistant credits or limits, overload the service, or reverse engineer beyond what the law allows. The server limits the number of assistant questions per minute.

User content

The aquarium, photos and questions belong to the user. The user authorizes us to process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. The app lets the user export their data at any time (About, "Exportar dados").

Availability

The app works offline, except for sync, purchases and the Pro assistant, which depend on the server and the stores. We may change or discontinue features; if Pro is discontinued, the subscription stops renewing and the paid cycle follows the store's refund rules.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code or by the law of the user's country. Beyond that, we are not liable for loss of animals, plants or equipment resulting from a decision based on the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. For consumers, the courts of the consumer's domicile apply.

Changes

Material changes are announced in the app or on this page, with the date of the new version. Continuing to use the app after the notice counts as acceptance.
